Ideas
A few places to start.
For the couple
The ceremony time and venue, with both names as the title. A gift guests remember.
For yourselves
The first dance instead of the ceremony: the sky is darker and the stars richer.
For the parents
Their own wedding night, decades ago, for a ruby or golden anniversary surprise.
Our six styles are designed to sit next to wedding photos: clean type, real stars and paper-like tones. You get a 300 dpi PNG and PDF, plus a print pack sized for nine standard frames, so it fits whatever frame you already own.
Try it live
Make it yours. It redraws as you type.
Every star is recalculated as you type. What you see here is exactly the file you download.

Questions
Good to know.
Completely. We calculate the position of more than 5,000 stars from the European Space Agency's Hipparcos catalogue, plus the Moon (in its real phase) and planets, for the exact coordinates, date and local time you choose, time zone and daylight saving included. It's the sky you would have seen looking straight up.
Pick the closest hour you remember. The sky turns slowly, so a guess within an hour or two still gives a faithful picture of that night. 22:00 is a lovely default for an evening sky.
The star map is your design in the style you chose, as a 4800 × 6400 px PNG and a print-ready PDF, sharp up to 45 × 60 cm (18 × 24 in). The gift collection adds the same sky in all six styles and a print pack with a page for every common frame size, from A4 to 50 × 70 cm and 8 × 10 to 18 × 24 in. Both include a matching phone wallpaper.
Take the file to any print shop or upload it to any online printing service. Ask for matte or satin paper of 200 gsm or more. The print pack has pages sized for standard frames, so it fits the frame you already love without any cropping.
Instantly. Your files are ready to download the moment your payment goes through, wherever you are in the world. That makes it a lovely last-minute gift: download tonight, print tomorrow.
Of course. Download it and print it yourself, or forward the files so they can print it at the size they like. Many people print it and frame it before the big day; others send the file with a note the moment it matters.
Email us from the address you ordered with and we'll send corrected files, free. If a file won't open or looks wrong, we'll fix it or refund you.
